Our dual-flow system uses 2 units: a blackwater unit handles the toughest contaminants up front and a greywater unit filters all the water in the system. Together, they run with superior energy efficiency and extend filter life.
1. Decomposition
In the blackwater unit, specialized microbes decompose hazardous biosolids as they would in healthy soil.
2. Evaporation & Condensation
Then, this treated blackwater is superheated into vapor, like clouds. The result is pure water from condensation, just like rain.
3. Filtration
The greywater unit filters both the pre-cleaned blackwater and the greywater from all other drains.
